notes

The colour changing foliage of this Pittosporum Banoway Bay is something to be admired. Starting with glossy, light green leaves edged in cream, the foliage gradually turns more burgundy coloured, especially after a frost, when it takes on a rich wine colour. A mound forming, evergreen shrub suitable for topiary, containers or to punctuate a border.

Insights

Has softly scented, small purple flowers in late spring, followed by woody fruits that split to reveal the seeds within. The foliage is useful for flower arranging.
