Features

notes
With the appearance of holly, Osmanthus Goshiki is a slow growing, evergreen shrub with attractive, coarsely spined, oval green leaves speckled with cream and often bearing a pink or bronze flush when young. Pretty, fragrant white flowers form in clusters in late summer and are easily hidden amongst the foliage. These are sometimes followed by small blue fruits.
Insights

Goshiki is the perfect name for this shrub as it means five colours in Japanese, the variegated foliage making this a wonderful, impenetrable screening plant or specimen. It is a recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence.
