notes

A popular variety for growing in gravel gardens, along with edging paths and borders, Lavender Munstead bears dense spikes of fragrant, blue-purple flowers above aromatic grey-green leaves. Named after Gertrude Jekyll's garden at Munstead Wood, this lavender is also perfect for dwarf hedging and is beloved by many native pollinators.

INSIGHTS

Increasingly in its role as a herb, lavender is being used in recipes, not just for puddings, biscuits and fudge, but also for use with pork recipes.
