Despite its unappealing common name of ‘Lungwort’, Pulmonaria is an attractive and useful plant in the garden, easy to grow and an interesting ground cover. Pulmonaria Twinkle Toes is one of the first perennials to flower, providing an early nectar source for pollinators. From March to May small flowers emerge from pink buds to form blue flowers, the two-colour effect forming a burst of colour in the early spring garden.

The evergreen foliage provides interest year round- the green leaves speckled with silver markings, (formed by air pockets masking the chlorophyll), which add light to shady areas.
