Iberis Snowsurfer
The bright, crisp flowers of Iberis sempervirens Snowsurfer explode in the spring in a particularly lovely pattern of rosettes against dark, evergreen foliage. Candytuft is quite simply pretty, brightening the edge of borders, in gravel gardens or containers.

Native to the rocky coastlines of the southern Mediterranean and north Africa, the common name of Candytuft is thought to be a derivation of the 13th-17th century name for Crete - Candia. Its origins explain its remarkable hardiness and its traditional planting alongside alpines and rocks.
In April - May the dense, flat-topped flowers appear and can be cut in moderation for flower arrangements
