notes
There is nothing better than home-grown fruit. This fast growing and high-yielding, traditional English apple tree produces pinky white blossom in spring, followed by Bramley cooking apples in autumn, which are perfect for crumbles and pies. A recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence in the garden.
Insights

Available on M26, semi-dwarfing rootstock, which makes this vigorous tree suitable for smaller gardens and with appropriate care can even be grown in a large container.

Care

Best grown in a sheltered, sunny spot where the blossom can attract pollinators and the fruit can ripen in the sun. Should be pruned annually to achieve the best crop. Cut back older fruited branches to a strong younger shoot positioned closer to the to the main trunk or higher up the branch. This will reduce congestion and prevent branches becoming too long.
