Features

notes

With its semi-double flowers surrounding a central cone, Echinacea Sunseekers Mineola is a magnet for bees and butterflies, which smother the long lasting blooms. The flowers transition in colour from yellow to tangerine, providing a vibrant punch of colour. Pair with grasses in a prairie planting scheme, use in a wildlife garden to encourage biodiversity or plant as a focal point in a container.

Insights

The long, straight stems of the flowers make them ideal for cutting for arrangements or leave them in situ to add interest to the autumn border. It is pleasing to note that the name echinacea comes from the Ancient Greek word 'ekhinos', meaning hedgehog; it is easy to see why!
