The clump forming perennial Salvia Blauhügel bears erect spikes proffering racemes of tiny, deep violet flowers, which are irresistible to bees and other pollinators. Insights
Salvia x sylvestris Blauhügel was introduced by German nurseryman Ernst Pagels in the late 1950's, with its name translating from German to ‘Blue Hill’ in English. It is a recipient of RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence.
