Polemonium Bressingham Purple

The regular arrangement of the leaves of this perennial explains its common name, a biblical reference to Jacob’s Ladder. Native to the woods of North America, this variety however, was bred in England , selected by the Bloom family at Bressingham.
Small, jewel-like deep purple flowers appear in May -June and continue flowering for some months

Ideal for containers or on the edges of borders, but does not like full sun or to dry out completely. Dead head after flowering to deter, if not wanted, enthusiastic self seeding.
