Features

notes

An attractive, unusual tulip, Artist lives up to its name with its salmon pink flowers striped with green inside and marked on the outer petals with a brushstroke of purple. These contrasting tones provide a fantastic effect, coupled with the lush, broad green foliage, and are best planted en-masse.

Insights

As Artist has a strong, stocky stem, it makes a wonderful cut flower so it’s worth planting extra to bring inside. As a Viridiflora tulip, its flowers are long lasting - remaining beautiful for up to three weeks. Tulip Artist is a recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence.
