Insights
Staking a claim as the oldest sherry bodega, the Valdespino have been involved in the production of this fortified wine for more 700 years. Establishing its roots the late 13th century, when Spanish knight Don Alonso Valdespino was granted 30 hectares of vineyard by King Alfonso X, the company was officially formed in 1875. To this day, Valdespino’s sherries remain among the best on the market.
