notes

Tulip Françoise is a tall, mid- to late season tulip that opens a lovely soft butter yellow, turning ivory white tinged with cream, whitening as it matures. A variety of Triumph tulip, it bears long-lasting, classic chalice-shaped single flowers with a delicate curve to the petals on erect stems from mid- to late spring.

Insights

Particularly good in containers, which is what the Triumphs are bred for, it is also robust and winter hardy when planted in the ground. An excellent cut flower, Triumph Group bulbs are popular as a forced bulb too.
