Features

notes

Resembling a rose with its extremely large, double set of petals, award-winning Tulip ‘Carnaval de Nice’ displays a densely packed bowl of white petals with brilliant splashes of burgundy and resembling a raspberry ripple. Also featuring variegated leaves with fine white margins, this checkered variety will capture much attention.

Insights

Double Late Tulips, also known as Peony-Flowered Tulips due to their shape, are known to be bulbous in size and can easily reach a span of an impressive 10cm in diameter. Blooming in late spring, they introduce charm and romance in the garden with their multi-petalled flowers. Carnaval de Nice is a recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence.
