Crafted with quality, single-origin Ecuadorian cocoa, these chocolate swallow eggs see a mix hazelnut praline and salted caramel ganache fillings encased in rich, variously coloured, dark milk chocolate shells. Presented in recyclable, plastic free packaging made from sustainable paper and card, each egg box is made from food grade sugar cane ‘bagasse’ waste.

White and green eggs: sugar, Ecuador cocoa mass, praline (hazelnuts, sugar) 15%, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, lactose, concentrate butter (milk), coating agents (gum arabic, Carnauba wax, beeswax, shellac), starches, cocoa powder, emulsifier: soya lecithin, glucose syrup, colouring ingredients (spirulina, apple and safflower concentrate, malted barley extract), salt, natural vanilla flavouring, colouring: E160a.
Brown and blue eggs: sugar, cocoa mass, caramel (sugar, water, dextrose) 12%, whole milk powder, cocoa butter, concentrated butter (milk), glucose syrup, coating agents (gum arabic, Carnauba wax, beeswax, shellac), starches, emulsifier: soya lecithin, colouring foodstuff (spirulina, apple, safflower, lemon, sweet potato and radish concentrates, malted barley extracts), ‘fleur de sel’ salt, natural vanilla flavouring.
Milk chocolate contains 30% cocoa min, 19% milk min. Dark chocolate contains 52% cocoa.

“Laid in France”, The Chocolate Detective source their delicious Ecuadorian chocolate eggs from a company across the English Channel that they have worked with and trusted for over 40 years. Although the cocoa is not certified ‘Fair Trade’, a more desirable Direct Trade model is adopted, the chocolate is crafted ‘bean-to-bar’ allowing for clear provenance, traceability, and good working practices which avoid both child labour and deforestation.
