Stachys officinalis Summer Grapes
A new American bred version of a British native wildflower Betony, Stachys officinalis Summer Grapes has the wrinkled aromatic foliage befitting a member of the mint family and bears lavender pink flowers held on tall stems. These flowers are highly attractive to bees and other pollinators and with their leafless stems, make a wonderful cut flower.

These flowers are highly attractive to bees and other pollinators and with their leafless stems, make a wonderful cut flower.
This is a very useful plant, tolerant of dry conditions, so it is an excellent choice for rock gardens and pots. It also makes an ideal ground cover or can be positioned at the front of a border or along a path edge, where given the right conditions, it will gently spread.
