Features

notes
The perennial Stachys Big Ears is ideal for the front of a cottage garden border where its clump forming habit makes an ideal ground cover of attractive hairy green leaves, and is a wonderful weed suppressant. From the mound spring upright spikes bearing a mass of inconspicuous purplish pink flowers, in bloom from early summer to late autumn, which are irresistible to bees.
Insights

Use Lamb’s Ears as an attractive underplanting of roses and shrubs, where its large, tactile leaves (hence the name!) form a beautiful foil for the blooms above.
