Salvia nemorosa Blue Marvel
Salvia Blue Marvel produces some of the largest flowers of all the perennial sages. The abundant, upright flower spikes soar above a bushy clump of grey-green foliage. The flowers, a strong purple-blue on claret stems, are attractive to butterflies and other native pollinators and are excellent for cutting.

These reasonably drought tolerant plants prefer a sunny spot and are invaluable for their richly coloured display in the border. You could use them for a colourful ground cover option. They have the additional bonus of being deer resistant!
