Features

notes

The firm, woody base of Salvia African Skies produces long branching stems which feature beautifully defined, open mouthed flowers of a staggering azure blue. This colour alone justifies this salvia’s place in a sunny, protected border where its scintillating colour can be enjoyed.

Insights

This reasonably drought tolerant plant prefers a sunny spot and is invaluable for its richly coloured display in the border. You could use them for a colourful ground cover option. They have the additional bonus of being attractive to pollinators and are deer resistant!
