notes

Rosa Strawberry Hill (Ausrimini) is a repeat-flowering English Leander hybrid climbing rose. Free flowering, it bears small clusters of mid-pink, medium sized, cupped blooms that resemble little rosettes. This rose is a winner for us: ideal for a wall or fence, it will reach three metres in time and has a delicious scent.

Please note, our roses are available to purchase all year round, so depending on the time of year your rose may either arrive in bloom or have been pruned or deadheaded appropriately for the season.

Insights

The Strawberry Hill rose was named after Horace Walpole's gothic revival house in Twickenham, London. Horace Walpole, the son of the first British Prime Minister, Sir Robert Walpole, laid out a fine garden which, along with the house, has recently been restored.
