Features

notes

Rosa Scepter'd Isle (Ausland) is a free flowering, small shrub rose with soft pink flowers, strongly scented with myrrh. Healthy and upright, with excellent disease resistance, this rose charms all with its continuous repeat flowering.

Please note, our roses are available to purchase all year round, so depending on the time of year your rose may either arrive in bloom or have been pruned or deadheaded appropriately for the season.

Insights

The name comes from John of Gaunt’s speech expressing his love for England in Shakespeare’s Richard II. ‘This royal throne of kings, this sceptre’d isle, this earth of majesty, this seat of Mars, this other Eden, demi-paradise.’
