Features

notes
The lovely bushy foliage of Nepeta racemosa Walker's Low is covered with a mass of deep lilac/purple flowers in late spring, early summer. This variety is particularly low growing and offers a lovely ground cover. The informality of its growth beautifully softens lines in cottage gardens with billowing clouds of colour.
Insights

Traditionally beloved of Cats, this Nepeta is also a wonderful boon for all forms of pollinating insects and will attract many welcome visitors. Because of its low habit, it makes excellent ground cover at the front of a border or beside paths because the foliage is aromatic if brushed past or crushed underfoot.
