Nepeta Cat's Pyjamas
A new dwarf variety of nepeta, Cat’s Pajamas is a hybrid between N. x faassenii ‘Purrsian Blue’ and a rare mat-forming species from Turkey. The result is a low growing plant with the rich indigo colouring of Purrsian Blue, but the flowers run the length of the stem from base to tip – far more floriferous than other catmints. It is also more compact and less sprawling than other varieties.

Ideal for planting along a pathway or as edging, its aromatic foliage releases a minty scent when brushed, deterring rabbits and deer. Its compact size also works well when planted in a container. The flowers are much loved by bees and other pollinators.
