Features

notes

A bushy herb, Lemon Balm resembles mint in appearance, with fresh variegated leaves that grow in attractive clumps. In the summer months it produces small white flowers that are a hit with bees. Like mint, it is a particularly rampant grower, so is best confined to a raised bed or container.

Insights

Said to aid memory retention, the leaves make a calming balm tea, but are also great for adding to stuffing, soups, tea and salads.
