Insights
Designing and manufacturing indoor and outdoor furniture since 1992, Vincent Sheppard works to preserve the tradition and history of the Lloyd Loom weaving technique, where kraft paper is twisted around a metal wire and woven into unique furniture pieces. Designed and finished in Belgium, pieces are developed in a close collaboration with the local people of Cirebon, Indonesia, known for its tradition in weaving and bending rattan. More recently the range has been extended to include synthetic wicker furniture which can be left outside all year long.
