James William Booth (1867-1953) was an English artist, known for his frequent countryside subjects and work as part of the Staithes Group, a group of painters based in Staithes, North Yorkshire who were inspired by the French impressionist movement. His work was exhibited across the UK during his lifetime, including at the Royal Academy, the Manchester Academy and the Royal Cambrian Academy.
