A large sized shrub, also known as Chinese witch hazel, Hamamelis Mollis Jermyns Gold is beloved for its golden yellow flower clusters, which hang like lemon zest from the almost bare branches during the winter. Not only do they add interest and colour to the winter garden, but the flowers are bestowed with the most glorious, sweet scent. Hairy green leaves turn yellow in autumn before falling.
