Features

notes

Gauras are remarkably pretty – starry clusters of white blooms, gently tinged with pink, are arranged on slender red stems, and catch the summer breeze. Wonderfully elegant and visually delicate, G. Whirling Butterflies is amazingly robust and will tolerate extreme heat, even drought.

Insights

Plant in the front of a sunny border, on the edge of a hot terrace or fill a well-positioned container, the result will also please native pollinators. As a low maintenance plant it lives up to its name, which comes from the Greek gauros, meaning superb.
