Insights
Tregothnan are pioneers of botanical firsts, first introducing Manuka bushes, Leptospermum scoparium, to the UK in the 1880s. As a private botanic garden and arboretum Tregothnan is unequalled, offering a diversity of plants and trees, rare collections, sweeping vistas and peaceful secluded groves. It uses the Leptospermum scoparium bushes as protection for the tea plantations.
