Cryptomeria japonica Sekkan-Sugi AGM
An unusual evergreen conifer, Sekkan-Sugi is visually graceful and delicate, with soft needles arranged in spirals along red/brown branches. The attractively feathery foliage is pale green when young and turns dark green as it matures, the top branches taking on a creamy tint in the winter. A recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence in the garden.
