notes

Crocosmia Lucifer is a dramatic variety of montbretia producing masses of magnificent, richly coloured, freesia-like blooms, held in a line on tall, arching stems in late summer and autumn. A recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence in the garden.

Insights

This lovely late flowering example, growing from a corm, will divide and slowly form a large, decorative clump of bright-green sword-like leaves. The flowers, which are highly attractive to pollinating insects, are long lasting making them ideal for arrangements.
