notes

The herbaceous perennial Crocosmia Walberton's Yellow has green, sword like leaves that add texture to the border. From mid to late summer, it boasts showstopping, yellow/gold flowers on arched stems, that can be cut for floral arrangements. These flowers are also highly attractive to bees and other pollinators.

Insights

A cousin of the gladiola, this cormous plant can spread easily so be mindful when planting and divide if necessary. Crocosmia Walberton Yellow is a recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence.
