Features

notes

The magnificent blooms of the Clematis ‘Doctor Ruppel’ span up to 22cm in diameter, gracing the garden intermittently between summer and autumn with a burst of colour and delightful texture. Bearing delicate pale pink tepals, embellished with a striking deep reddish-pink central bar, their exquisite wavy edges, combined with their lush green foliage, lends this deciduous climber its spectacular beauty.

Insights

Clematis need their roots to be cool and their heads in the sun, so plant with roots shaded by other plants. Moreover, they will add height to the garden or provide colour to a plain background, such as a fence or wall.

Care
  • Group 2 pruning
