Features

notes

A dense clump of grassy foliage that turns from green in summer to orange bronze in autumn, Carex Testacea (or orange New Zealand sedge) has a tumbling form, which adds interest and texture to the garden, particularly during winter. It will provide the best colour foliage when planted in full sun.

Insights

Carex Testacea is a wonderful container plant that works well as a contrast in colour when planted with other ornamental grasses or bright flowers. In summer, small brown flower spikes emerge.
