Carex Ice Dance is a grass like sedge that provides evergreen interest to the garden with its arching, variegated, green leaves. Slow spreading, in spring it bears inconspicuous small beige flower spikes. Added to a border or container with spring bulbs or bedding plants, the tufted mound adds great texture and movement, and also proves an excellent choice for shady areas of the garden, where its white edged leaves will brighten a dull space.

Virtually maintenance free, Carex Ice Dance has the best foliage colour when planted in part shade rather than sun, where its leaves may bleach. Generally disease and pest free.
