This is a useful ground cover plant perfect for shady areas. It will form large, light-coloured mounds under deciduous trees, in the front of a border or along the edge of a woodland path.

Cut out any stems with leaves that revert to plain green. In late autumn, lift and divide the plant every two or three years.
