Features

notes
Armeria pseudarmeria Sweet Dreams produces pretty clumps of fine, lance-shaped foliage which look charming in containers or planted in gravel, especially since the spherical, soft pink flowerheads, held on strong stems, last from late spring until the first frost in autumn. Low maintenance and attractive to butterflies, they make a delightful addition to the garden.
Insights

Thrift appeared regularly in the designer gardens at 2022’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Armeria pseudarmeria Sweet Dreams hails from the crags and salt marshes of the rocky Portuguese coastline; the closely related English native, is Armeria maritima, which similarly tolerates salt water spray (not a problem for everyone) and drought conditions!

Details

The white flowers appear from May to August, attracting native pollinators, particularly bees. Once established it is drought tolerant.
