Semi-evergreen, the enormous glossy leaves can grow up to a metre long and form impressive clumps. It spreads by means of an underground rhizome. Allow it plenty of room to make its statement as a specimen plant. The blooms are also excellent for flower arrangements, both fresh and dried.
