Highly decorative, this robust, evergreen shrub produces pink-tinted new growth and tiny white flowers in May. (Autumn berries only appear on the female plant).

Plants are either male and female and both sexes are required to produce berries, which form only on the female plant in late autumn/early winter. These are toxic and the plant may also irritate skin.
