Thalictrum aquilegiifolium Thundercloud
The French meadow rue, Thalictrum aquilegiifolium Thundercloud is one of the tallest varieties of the species, bearing fan-like foliage reminiscent of aquilegia (hence the name) and in summer fluffy panicles of purple florets and stamens, which unfurl like little fireworks.
