Features

notes

Very useful in the border, this easy to grow perennial, blue sage, forms bushy clumps of aromatic foliage, topped for months on end with spikes of violet blue flowers. These flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinators.

Insights

Fabulous when planted in drifts or as underplanting to roses, Salvia Blue Hill also works well when planted in a container. The flowers make long lasting cut flowers.  Also known as Salvia × sylvestris 'Blauhügel, it is a recipient of RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence.
