Rectangular Kenzan
Place a Rectangular Kenzan in the bottom of the vase, and soft green and hardwood stalks can be held firmly in place by being stuck into the bed of brass pins. (The lead weight of the kenzan prevents it from floating.) The result is more pleasing than strapping down oasis in a transparent container, and kenzan are endlessly reusable.
