Equine Head
Expertly carved in frostproof stone, with fine, life-like detail, this equine head makes a striking focal point in any garden and has been a popular creation for over 40 years. It is a strong replica of the original stone horse head that was excavated at Civitavecchia near Rome in the 1500s. This was later adapted to serve as a fountain spout in the courtyard of the Medici Palace, so it is taken from a design rich in history.
