notes

Also known as the Tenby Daffodil, Narcissus Obvallaris is a native daffodil that is most often used for naturalising. Being a sub-species of the wild daffodil, these small, golden headed narcissi will form wonderful drifts when planted in woodland or spots of partial shade in the garden.

Insights

Narcissi Obvallaris’ common name comes from its association with the town of Tenby in Wales. As such, it is generally considered to be the traditional St David’s Day Daffodil, and the emblem of Wales.
