Established in Tokyo in 1947 Edwin began life as import merchant for vintage American denim in post-war Japan. Inspired by the growing national denim obsession, in 1961 they debuted the first ever Japanese manufactured jeans. By the 1970s Edwin had established themselves as influential international pioneers in denim manufacturing.
