Bell Shaped Abaca Net Cover
Traditionally used for ship’s rigging and nets, abaca is also pulped to make manila envelopes and other forms of paper (the Japanese yen banknote is currently made up to 30% abaca). Harvested mainly in the Philippines from the abaca plant, a close relative of the banana, it has tensile strength from its long fibres.
