notes

A hardy perennial herb, Greek Oregano originates from the Greek mountain ranges. Producing sweet smelling, aromatic foliage year round and pretty, small white flowers during summer, it has decorative value as well as immense culinary use.

Insights

The scented foliage can be used fresh or dry for flavouring moussaka, stews, sausages, omelettes, stuffing, and rustic pizzas. For a taste of the Mediterranean try sprinkling it on lamb or pork before cooking.
