Green Fennel has both culinary and decorative value. Fine clouds of feathery, bright green leaves, which have a sweet aniseed flavour are crowned with flat-topped, sulphur-yellow flower heads in mid- to late summer - the perfect centrepiece for a sunny herb garden.

The leaves have a delicate aniseed flavour and are great used in summer salads or fish dishes to counteract any oiliness. Additionally, an infusion of Fennel used as a compress is excellent for softening rough chapped hands.

Grown in peat free compost in a biodegradable pot made from waste coir and natural latex. Pop the discarded coir pot in the green bin, leave out for birds to use for nesting, use as mulch or add to compost heap.
