Panettone ingredients 85%: gluten free mix (corn starch, sugar, emulsifier: E471, plant fibres (psyllium), thickener: guar gum, slat, preservative: sorbic acid), water, butter (lactose-free)*, sultanas (grape 99.5%, vegetable oil 0.5%) 7%, sugar powder (sugar, maize starch), candied orange peel (orange peel, glucose-fructose syrup, saccharose) 5%, category A pastuerised whole fresh eggs, 99.9% delactosed skimmed milk powder (lactose-free)*, category A pasteurised fresh egg yolk, candied citron peel (citron peel, glucose-fructose syrup, saccharose, concentrated lemon juice), thickener gum: xanthan gum, natural flavourings.
*butter and powdered skimmed milk in quantities that guarantee a residual lactose content of than 0.01% in the finished product
Frosting ingredients 15%: powdered sugar (sugar, corn starch), almonds 19%, hazelnuts 19%, rice powder, dried egg whites, plant fibres (potato, pea, plantago, linen). Topped with pearl sugar 4% and whole almonds 1%

Insights
Founded by Pietro and Regina in 1922, Galup began life as a small pastry shop in the town of Pinerolo, nestled in the north-western region of Piemonte. From well-maintained mother yeast to IGP hazelnuts from Piemonte, Galup have only ever used only highest quality ingredients. The family run business continues to produce their popular confectionary in the town of Pinerolo to this day, following the same traditional recipes.
