A gluten and lactose free variation of the traditional Gran Galup, this panettone sees candied fruit and sultanas replaced by extra dark chocolate chips and covered with a hazelnut and almond frosting, decorated with granulated sugar and whole almonds. This panettone preserves the best qualities and flavours of the original recipe.
Panettone ingredients 85%: gluten free mix (corn starch, sugar, emulsifier: E471, plant fibres (psyllium), thickener: guar gum, salt, preservative: sorbic acid), water, butter (lactose free), sugar powder (sugar, maize starch), dark chocolate drops (sugar, cocoa paste, cocoa butter, emulsifier: soy lecithin) 8%, category A pasteurised whole fresh eggs, natural yeast, 99.9% delactosed skimmed milk powder (lactose free), brewer’s yeast, category A pasteurised egg yolk, thickener: xanthan gum, natural flavourings.
Frosting ingredients 15%: powdered sugar (sugar, corn starch), almonds 19%, hazelnuts 19%, rice powder, dried egg whites, plant fibres (potato, pea, plantago, linen). Topped with pearl sugar 4% and whole almonds 1%.

Founded by Pietro and Regina in 1922, Galup began life as a small pastry shop in the town of Pinerolo, nestled in the north-western region of Piemonte. From well-maintained mother yeast to IGP hazelnuts from Piemonte, Galup have only ever used only highest quality ingredients. The family run business continues to produce their popular confectionary in the town of Pinerolo to this day, following the same traditional recipes.
