Stoneware Pancheon Bowl
Beautifully hand thrown, the earthy craft of the Pancheon bowl promises longevity in the kitchen as a reliable mixing bowl. The diverse colouring comes from the high iron content within the clay, encouraging a speckled patina. Fired at 1300°C, this process enhances the variegation and generates a luscious glaze.

Part of our new ‘Toasted Stoneware’ range, these bowls are the result of a collaboration between our creative director, Louise Johnson, and potters local to the Cotswolds. A Pancheon bowl is a large, flared bowl and its design roots are deeply buried in traditional rural pottery where it was used for separating cream or making bread.
